If I eat before I workout, will I still be able to lose weight? Or is it better to workout first and then eat?

The meal timing doesn't matter. You have to eat less calories than you burn to lose weight.

You should eat something about 1 HR before working out to nuorish your workout and within 1 Hr after to aid in recovery.

More recent studies would suggest that that isn't required. Food pre or post exercise (within a 2 hour window) MAY be beneficial but there is still some research required to evaluate based on total calories.

In the grand scheme of things, calories are the most important.
