I'm sorry for it being long winded.
So I'm trying to get myself back into the swing of things, but not only do I have a lack of focus, I have a lack of direction too. I was doing great for a while but when I reached my "goal" I basically stopped trying. I have a lot of reasons for stopping, but none of them are good enough now.
Before I wanted to be about 175 -180lbs because that was what was normal for my bmi. I achieved 182lbs. Since then I get people telling me all the time I'm so skinny. I'm not really but compared to me at 311lbs its a big change.
Though I'm content with my body and health (for the most part) I wouldn't mind "looking better naked" lol I think I want to be somewhere between190-210 but with more muscle and a better physique. So how do I get there?

what is your current work out regiment like?
I would recommend learning compound lifts - squats, deadlifts, overhead press, chin ups, pull ups, etc. Once you have the form down with this work out in rep range of like four to eight with four sets each ..as the weight gets lighter, increase the weight.
Training should be linear in the weight on bar, or reps are increasing every few weeks...
You won't gain muscle eating in a deficit..but you will lose body fat and make your muscles show more...
If you want to bulk up to 190 then you are going to need to increase daily calorie intake by at least 100 over maintenance...0 -
Eat at a surplus, get adequate protein and fats, and lift heavy weights.0

My current work out regiment is non existent. I haven't been in about 2-3 months. I was going for a while about 3-5 times a week. Mainly doing calisthenics (pull ups, mountain climbers, push ups, sit ups) Also doing a lot of cardio. I only did a small amount of lifting.0
