Should I start exercise right away or gradually?

Starting MFP for the 289th time and was curious if starting exercise at the same time is smart or should I wait? I plan on doing strength training 3X a week and some cardio right after my strength training.

    I started both around the same time. I think the key is to push yourself at a measured pace, though - when you first start, you can't expect to work out as hard as you will later on.

    Cannot think of one reason not to start today.
