Hungry Days

Do you guys experience days where you're more hungry than normal?

I've been happily and healthfully eating a calorie deficit for almost two weeks now, and haven't found myself at all hungry. If anything, I've had trouble eating all the way to my goal because I've been eating denser foods.

But today, I've eaten the same breakfast and similar lunch as I have been, and I'm still crazy hungry. Why is that? How do you personally handle days like that?

This happens to me a lot, when I am just hungry I stuff myself with low calorie food like fruit, which also gives lots of vitamins, thus the best thing to binge on if you ask me. Do you drink enough? Sometimes thirst gets mistaken for hunger.
A little fruit binge is okay with me, I am not that good with this disciplin thing, but it's working somehow and I am not crushing myself :) If you hunger for special food, sweet things for example, or crisps or whatever you might be lacking certain vitamins or minerals, there are healthy alternatives for everything, google the food you crave and find out what's in it that the body needs, that's what you actually crave, then find a healthy alternative with this stuff in it :)

Thanks for the response! Yep, I am definitely drinking enough...that's one thing I've never had an issue with, even before I was watching what I ate (I lived on a small island in the Pacific for two years, so I got used to carrying a water bottle around with me wherever I go).

I like your fruit idea! I'm lucky enough to have a workplace that often provides apples and oranges and other healthy snacks.

    Thanks for the tips,

    Chris
