I would like to track different aspects of my run (distance, rate, incline etc-wish MFP would just add these already!!), and had previously had people say that Strava was a good resource. I've looked on the site, which seems good, but as I am doing a lot of my running indoors on the treadmill would this be worth it? It seems to be more geared to the outside, track your runs and download kind of run. I've used Map My Run for my outdoor running and I like it fine, there's just no place to graph indoor runs (necessity here in rainy Seattle in the winter-for me at least).

I'm not aware of any way to do that. You're best bet, I think, would be to see if the treadmill allowed you to create an account online where you could see a history of your workouts... but I'm not sure any external device/app/site can track/analyze treadmill data.

I did look into that, but no luck. :(

I wish we could just log it into MFP! Maybe I will suggest it to them (although I have to imagine someone before me has already done this).

If you are willing to enter it manually into MFP, why not just enter it into Excel? Then you could track/analyze the data in a variety of ways.

Does the treadmill have a way to export the data? Either by a thumbdrive or maybe via bluetooth to your phone?

    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wahoofitness.fitness
This app will accept data via bluetooth and then export it to something like strava.

That is the only way i can think of for getting any valueable information to track. You have to figure out a way to export the exercise data out of your treadmill and onto something you can upload.

Once you do that, strava is a good app to track your overall progress. But not necessarily anything treadmill specific such as incline. Although strava does track inclines from GSP data on a map of your course (if you were running outside). I am not sure what this would look like from treadmill data.

I am not much of a treadmill runner, so I am not sure what sites are good for tracking treadmill specific data.
But I do know that most treadmills have a way to export your data, just don't know what specific treadmill you are using and what capabilities it has.

I run on the treadmill with Strava I just enter it manualy instead of having it record my run as I'm doing it.

It doesn't (at least in the free version) track your incline but it does everything else. I just snap a photo of the treadmill screen when I'm done, manually upload and include the photo. There is a section for notes too so I guess you could input your incline there.

You can also track other activities too.

I could do that. Does it graph your progress? I really like to look over and see the graph going up and up. :)

I think with Strava, you need to get the premium to create graphs.

I only have a free account there, but I use www.runningahead.com in addition (also free).
There, you can create lots of graphs like "pace-vs-day", "distance-vs-time", "heart rate vs temperature" or whatever you can think of. So maybe that site could also be interesting for you.

Here is a link to a Strava activity that i did on the treadmill. You really need a watch that is capable of tracking cadence. I use either my Suunto Ambit2R with built in cadence sensor or the Polar M400 and connected Bluetooth Stride Sensor with GPS turned off.
