This site is great, and provides rankings for protein powders based on accuracy of the label, quality and safety of the ingredients, etc. I'd suggest anything that rates well there and says something like "mass builder."

Find a good quality protein you like (I prefer Optimum Nutrition) and add other ingredients to it to increase calorie count. Peanut butter, fruits, and coconut oil are just a few examples of things that can easily be blended with protein powder to increase calorie count and you'll get some additional nutrients from them. With most weight gainer supplements you're paying a lot extra for fluff.0

Protein powders are much the same calorie wise. The difference will be due to the amount of carbs and the total overal protein content. if you want a good bulker without the sugars get a decent protein WPC80 or WPI90, fine oats and or peanut butter / EVO.0

Costco Cytosport 100% Whey or MusclePharm Combat Protein. Both taste great, easy to mix and can't beat the price. Want to up your calories, add fruit, etc or just do a double scoop, bit remember, your body can only process so much protein at a time. Up your green vegetables and proteins (chicken, fish ) ,you'll be amazed the gains you make.0

Good advice. Just make you get a quality whey that's not amino spiked like most of them. I'd prefer MTS or Optimum Nutrition.pinggolfer96 wrote: »Just get a nice whey isolate and create your own gainer by mixing with peanut butter, oats, banana....etc0
