Do they really help you feel fuller? Any particular kind/brand?
Or does it help with regularity?

yes, fiber can help you feel fuller. I looked at GNC and Vitacost and a few other places before getting some things from GNC.

WHat I use that for is: Special K used to have a pink lemonade protein water powder mix. It had about 5 g protein and 6 g fiber - something like that. Unfortunately, they're not making it anymore. I went and got some whey powder, fiber powder, and crystal light pink lemonade. I use one crystal light packet and 1 1/2 teaspoons of whey powder and the fiber powder in a 16.9 oz. bottle of spring water. That really helps between meals.

Another thing I use is Chocolite protein bars (www. healthsmartfoods.com). I like the triple chocolate fudge, and husband likes the peanut butter. Each bar has about 10 g protein and 10g fiber - sugar free/gluten free and about 100 calories. They also have pecan caramel cluster things that are really good too - slightly more fiber and slightly less calories.

It really does help with regularity too. LOTS!!!! And no straining!!!

I do occasionally drink metamucil. I do think it helps keep me full to get to a meal, but probably not more than 45 mins to an hour of relief, then you'll be hungry.

I have more issues to my gut than I like to list, so this fiber supplement doesnt have any kind of helpfulness really unless I just havent ever had it consistently enough to make any difference.

But I know the fiber is good, so even if I cant tell Im sure its helping something :/ haha.

Neither - insoluble fiber will make you feel bloated and constipated. The only good fiber is the soluble stuff like Inulin.
