Hi all!

I started on Dec 1st recording my eating and exercise. I am finding this site to be very motivating. I feel in charge of my food and am keeping track of my exercise.

I turn 57 this month and have, like many, been on a life-long struggle with my weight. I lost 80 lbs 8years ago, kept it off for a year and then slowly started gaining it back. I am now 20 lbs below my highest weight so at least I havent gained back more which has happened in the past. I feel really ready and have some good healthy habits as a base for my eating, I just tend to eat too much, particularly in the evening.

My plan is to lose 2 lbs a week. I have some injuries and recently bought an exercise bike to have a low impact exercise easily available. I hope that as I get lighter and stronger I can get back to hiking with my husband and dog.
