I was updating my weekly notes I keep on my weight, and felt like sharing. It's so easy to get caught up in the "why didn't anything happen this week" and in the moment it can feel like you've been the same weight for an eternity, but in the bigger picture it will all work out if you trust the process and keep yourself accountable!
These are the losses each week in the last 201 days, and I think it gives a pretty good cross section of how up and down things can be, and how that's ok as long as you stay accountable. There were a lot more UPS in this that showed up in between these weekly weigh-ins
You can see how in that first month or two it was easier, and my losses were more consistent and higher each week, because had a lot to lose. As I get closer to a healthy weight, things are getting a little more... all over the place. Who am I kidding, look at the numbers, they've been all over the place the entire rest of the time since then! And thats ok.

In my memory, I don't remember all of these losses. I just remember being stuck for a long time and being irritated by it. that period where both of my grandmothers died blends together in my mind as a mix of not giving a damn, trying to make myself give a damn, frustration, and a lot of swedish fish. Going back to the numbers once in a while helps remind me that I wasn't just "stuck", things were happening, just slowly! I remember it as an honest to god plateau, and really... it wasn't. It was life happening.
