any more tips

I really would like to lose 60 pounds at least before summer 2016, but would love to lose at least 20 before my vacation in March. any work out tips and recipes I should try? I have already started meal planning on Sunday's for the week, working out three times a week for 30 min, drinking more water, being more active, cut down on sugary drinks ( I drank most of my calories), and cutting out fast food fried food and soda as well. anymore tips

    You have a good plan. Keep on going.
    Buy yourself a food scale and weigh all food you eat. Log it at MFP
    Manage your expectations. You did not acquire your present body weight in 1year so do not expect to lose it all in 1 year either.
    Eating at a deficit is lose body weight
    Exercise is for fitness and health. You can not out exercise excessive food intake,even it is healthy food
    Read "Most helpful post" at the beginning of this MFP board.
