Tuesday is my weigh in and I got my period last Thursday and so I weighed myself today to see if I lost weight and nope I'm still where I was a week ago. I've been eating a lot also. Maybe I should start in January. Idk. Feel free to add me.

Weight loss is not linear. You may not lose every week, no matter how diligent you are. Then there will be weeks when you'll lose more than you were expecting. It all evens out. Just be patient and keep going.0

Think about it this way - if you keep going, you may not lose anything over the holidays, and may gain, but you will still be farther ahead in your progress come January than by giving up now.BlueberryMuffins189 wrote: »I've been eating a lot also.
You might try just logging your weight on Tuesday, and then not weigh yourself until a couple of weeks after your last big holiday meal, if the scale makes you feel discouraged. I'm 60, and have lost 60 pounds over the last year or so, 39 of them since starting MFP in April. It's slow and it's not easy, but it can be done. If you break your weight loss goals down into 10 pounds at a time, the 85-115 goals you have set for yourself won't look so overwhelming and it may help you stay in the game. Looking at smaller goals and ignoring the big number has been really important for me. Buying a food scale and weighing and logging all my food has been essential.
You can do this, and you might as well continue what you started. Don't give up.

No, don't wait.
Be patient and keep going.
Stick to your calorie goal. Pre-logging my whole day helps me.
Log everything you consume as accurately as you can. If you haven't been try weighing and measuring your food and make sure you choose correct entries.0 -
If you quit for a month every time you get your period you won't hit your goal for a long time. Rather than quitting, learn about how your recurring hormonal changes may affect your weight and accept that weight loss is not linear, does not require perfection, and requires both persistence and patience.0
