    I do love a hot body but on my FL I find it easier to connect with people and remember the people who have actual faces.

    Its not about caring what other do, its about understanding why its being done. I am completely aware that I am not trendy, nor at all in touch with the youth. I am a total spazz and that's okay. But I wanted to understand the headless culture I am a part of.

    And you know, everything is about me. (okay its not, but it would be nice if I was the star for once) I want faces to see when I need more motivation. It helps me. And well, all the amazing abs and backs, and arms, and well bodies is incredibly motivating for a girl who has none of those amazing muscles but wants them. But often I see the faces of the people who motivate me the most. Those who are supportive, yet at the same time challenging.

    Ummmm.....so the only way to motivate you and be supportive is to have a face picture? hahaha. That'd be a new Friend Request requirement I've seen on here.

    It's My Fitness Pal, not My Face Pal... so many people use their profile pics to showcase their fitness - which is often centered around the abs, biceps, shoulders, legs, booty, etc.

    If you want to actually see any details, you need to get close up, which then ends up cropping the head out of the square picture.

    Some people, also embrace the anonymity it brings because they're strutting their stuff half naked, and may not want their spouses / coworkers / friends / church members / parents seeing them looking that way. Not because it's wrong, but more because - as many of us who've been Facebook attacked can attest - they'll be accused of being cheap assed, proud, exhibitionistic floozies...

    some... just simply do not like seeing their face peering back at them.

    that said...

    look... I am smiling and my boxing gloves make a heart
    enjoy it for now... cuz the abs will be back soon enough lol

    I attempted a headless shot...my arms are not long enough... But I now have a head less shot... why I felt the need to have a headless shot...

    Maybe we shouldn't assume that there are heads to begin with. A lot of people report difficulty losing those last 10lbs. The human head is about that...just sayin.

    I see more pics of myspace angle head shots that are enhanced or beautified through apps.
    It's nice to see the whole person but I respect member's reasons for anonymity on the internet.
