write a status on my profile with just his username and a question mark to let my friends decide his fate. If there was a weird message with the request, I'd probably note it in my status.

Oh and FYI, don't send blank requests. Or ones that just say "Hi".
And if you've had your profile for a year and only have one pic, one friend, and no personal info filled out, you're getting declined.

That being said, I accepted @_incogNEATo_ he's a good one.
