Dumb Fitbit / Activity Question

I used to do Weight Watchers and get weekly "activity points", but now with MFP I see extra calories added each day for FitBit activity and other activity.
Am I supposed to eat those calories? Or leave them alone and finish the day below?
Example: Walked 9 miles and boxed (maybe 500-700 extra calories).

I only use them if I need them, maybe for a special occasion or something like that.0

Only eat the extra calories if you are maintaining weight0
