Carb cycling

I don't know if it's just me, but I ALWAYS see posts about how much progress people make with carb cycling but I really don't understand it!! How many carbs do you eat and what days? I know you should be in a calorie deficit to lose weight but I just don't understand what's better!

    Are you an experienced lifter who is already lean and looking to maximise every potential gain?

    If the answer is no then carb cycling is not necessary :)
