Hi I'm starting my weight loss goals again hopefully I will stay on task. I also would like to do 1200 calorie diet I have at least 90 lbs to lose so I feel overwhelmed at the thought I have to lose so much if I don't see results right away I get discouraged. Also I like to drink wine which is high in calories and sugars. So I've tried to save it for a Saturday night. I would love any advice I could get.

hey, i feel the same way as you about wine! i have switched to vodka (more or less calorie free!) and a sugar free mixer and i save wine for special/more formal occasions! i also assume that if i eat healthy for one day and work out then ill wake up with an amazing body the next, its a shame it doesnt work that way huh?

Welcome to mfp. With 90 pounds to lose you can go higher calorie wise.. I'd really recomend that. Start with small changes, maybe cut portion size or have one healthy meal. Then build on that. Break your weight loss into small acheivable goals like 10 pounds & reward yourself when you suceed, with a mani, book something you want
