Time for 24 hour fasts?

Options
Hi everybody,

I've tried 24 hour fasts a couple times, and I much say it definitely saves me a lot less planning, time, and convenience.

My only concern is, when I do sit down to eat, it's challenging for me to fit in all my calories within the time allowance. I should eat a meal of about 1800 calories... and that would take me about 1,5 to 2 hours at a relaxing pace (I also try mindful eating.)

Needless to say, this isn't realistic within the 30 min. lunch break I have at work....
When do you typically eat your one large meal? How long does it take? Does this pose a problem for the relationships in your life? (For example, your colleagues, friends, or family?)

Can't wait to hear your comments!

    I don't understand what you're talking about

a 24 hour fast implies not eating for 24 hours then eating

why do you have a window for eating after your fast

    what exactly are you doing?

this isn't IF - it's almost religious fasting

    So 23 hr intermittent fasting?
    One big meal a day?

Does something special happen if it takes you 61 minutes or 91 minutes?

I do 5:2 and eat my 500 calorie meal at around 7pm on fast days, with only tea coffe or water up until then. I only eat 1800 calories in non-fast days!
