Hi guys, I'm a 5'1 female, and so I usually aim for about 1000-1200 calories a day. However, on most days I don't hit the target despite feeling so full. Any suggestions for healthy foods to help? :)

Without knowing what you eat now, it's hard to be specific.

Are you eating any diet or reduced calorie foods? Swap them for regular.

Add calorie dense foods -- things like nuts or nut butter, avocado, oils.

Do you avoid grains? Try adding some to your daily meals -- things like bread, pasta, cookies, or rice can help you meet your calorie goals with relatively small portions.

    1) You should AT LEAST net 1200 calories a day. If you don't your body is missing nutrients that keep you healthy.
    2) If you are young and active, 1200 actually may be too little. And by eating this amount, you may actually be losing muscle along with fat and water.
    3) Eat whatever you want within your calorie range (I'd seriously consider finding a more reasonable calorie range than 1200). Ice Cream, beer, wine, cookies, etc. The type of food DOESN'T matter.
