Thyroiditis, T4 pill and weightloss

Hello mfp pals

I recently found out that i have thyroiditis (not hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism) and my doctor prescribed me T4 so that my thyroiditis doesn't end up being hypothyroidism in the future. According to my doctor, this condition made my weightloss slower and made weight gain easier, but he explained to me that the fact that i had the weight to begin with wasn't due to my thyroid.

So far, and before i started taking T4, i've lost 30+ kilos. I am still on this journey, haven't reached my goal yet, i want to lose 10 more kilos. My doctor said that i will lose weight easier now that i'm taking T4 and i'm kind of confused about what to do next. I was eating 1000 calories max to lose weight (because i don't excersise or work atm) and i did that because i wasn't really losing weight on 1200. Do you think i should increase to 1200 now that i'm taking T4 or keep it the same?

If anyone has similar experiences, i would appreciate your input!

Peace!
