Ok ok ok...I'm ranting again and I know its probably just the fact that I am at work aka hell and PMSing all at the same time that has me in a BLAHHHHHHHHHH mood.
I got on the scale for the first time in a month this morning...yes I know I am slightly bloated right now bc of female issues BUT the damn scale says I havent lost a single pound :-(
I have lost inches and I am happy about that but seriously do i have to be losing a lb of fat and gaining a lb of muscle at the same time. I want to be in the 130s again :-(
I have been eating right and hitting the gym super hard. I see a dif in my body and I feel a dif too but i really hate the way the stupid scale can make me feel sometimes!!!
Oh well...that is my rant for today....back to real work!

Keep at it and keep on working hard! I had a 6 week plateau - that's why I joined this site!
It will move! Have faith my friend!0 -
I think you should just focus on your measurements for now and not worry about the scale. You're in excellent shape right now. With the shape you're in you're just toning the muscles and reducing the fat. This is normal. You're doing great and don't worry about the scale. Be proud of your measurements! Good Luck!0

Sorry to hear your frustration, but you are right! The scale plays an insignificant role in weight loss. Eat healthy foods, watch your caloric intake, maintain your daily deficit, add exercise to your routine, and you will see the inches come off! Your clothes will be bigger, and you will see the difference in the mirror, and feel the difference on your body! Keep going, and don't worry what the scale says; it doesn't matter.0

Hang in there, come on you said yuo've noticed a change in your body and you lost inches, that's what matters! Scales are evil!!! stay away from them!0

Sorry to hear that, keep up the good work! I am sure because it's that TOM (time of month) the scale has not moved! I will give it one week until the last day of your cycle and then weigh in again... if it does not budge... look into: drinking more water (at least HALF your weight in ounces), switching up your fitness routine (adding weights into your workout, more intensity, taking some classes at the gym), try switching up the foods you normaly eat and try playing with your calories eat your exercise on some days!
One if not all these will help you get through this stall and back to weight loss mode.
Good Luck:flowerforyou:0 -
Might be an idea not to weight the week of PMS especially if you typically retain water, as it won't give you a true reading. Wait a week and try again!:flowerforyou:0
