My loss has evened out. The only change I've done is add strength training. Can I really blame that?

Working out muscles that aren't used to it can certainly cause some temporary water weight gain.
But in reality, it's your lack of patience that the real villain here, get that under control, or this is going to be a wild wild weight loss ride for you.0 -
Weight naturally fluctuates day to day.

I would look at a longer sampling of data to determine a trend. I weigh daily on a scale that also measures my body fat % and logs it for me. After several months I started seeing how my weekends were eroding half of my good work during the week. You also get used to freak days like I had yesterday, I didn't eat all that good but okay. I then topped it off with wine (1/2 bottle) followed by three draft beers at the Tap room. I got on the scale this morning and lost three pounds.0

it has only been a week, that is your answer.
seriously, it can take your body three to four weeks to adjust to changes in diet and exercise.
I would make sure that you are using correct MFP database entries and have a food scale to weigh all solid foods.0 -
Your title says it all. You can't make changes with less than a week of data to guide you.
When I started working out I gained about 3 lbs. That evened out over the course of a few weeks.
I increased my carbohydrate intake and i gained another 4 lbs.
Anytime you make a major change to your excercise program (start a lifting program, adding cardio, etc.) or diet program (adding calories, reducing calories, substantially changing macronutrient profiles) its typically best to throw your old reference point out the window and establish a new baseline to measure your progress by.0
