I workout about 6 days a week so I feel like half of my closet is workout clothes. I try everything, but I feel like women's workout clothes in particular have the irritating tendency to ride up during mountain climbers, burpees, etc. Any recommendations for styles/brands to go with-as well as ones that I should run the other direction from?

I like to go to stores and test them out in the dress room. also squats to avoid the see thru issue.
My favorite brands is rbx and brooks for the bottom and fila for the top.
I also have old navy but I don't find quite the same freedom of movement

I just buy the cheapest stuff I can from Wal-Mart. Nothing beats a $5 workout shirt. But that's just me.

Hmm, I think it ends up being personal preference. I wear whatever I find and like whether it's capri workout pants from khol's or a tank top from walmart (still might wear the minion one to the gym some day). But my issue is more with shirts riding up on bench and such but I'm self conscious of my stomach. Then again, I don't do burpees so can't help with what works best on those. I have to adjust my shorts and pants on occasion but it's not enough to bother me. Also have like 2 drawers of workout clothes. If it's something you do on a regular basis, helps to have enough clothes or you'd have to do laundry quite often.

Most of my workout clothes are from Old Navy and Joe Fresh. I like tighter fitting shorts for my boot camp class, as I find they tend to ride up less than a looser fitting pair of shorts. I find compression capris stay in place fairly well also.

I seem to have had the biggest problem with workout pants/capris and finding ones that stay in place. I've tried pretty much every major brand and Nike Pro is my favorite. I like them for capris and running pants. I used to love UA but lately I haven't been into any of their gear. They got rid of the sports bra I used to like best and I haven't found a similar replacement.

I have to wear fitted tops when I'm doing things like burpees or mountain climbers or else the shirt flies up a lot. I like Old Navy and Target tamis (dumb name but it's like their cross between a tank and a cami - slightly wider straps). They stay in place very well and are cheap.

I love the Old Navy yoke front yoga pants - but you have to make sure you get the thicker ones, not the thin fold over ones...I usually order online because I need tall sizes...

I love the idea of the Tami's (you're right, that is a spectacularly dumb name). I do a lot of old navy/target/kohls but it's always trying to make sure I don't have sweat wicking fabric on both the top and the bottom because they slide off of each other or having too loose a fit on top. It's crazy!

I love Under Armour Studio capri leggings. They stay in place and I love the fabric; it's stretchy like spandex but with a more cottony feel. For tops, I mostly wear cotton tanks from Old Navy, but also have some moisture wicking tanks from UA. Sports bras are either from Target, Nike, or UA. I have more workout clothes than regular.

You should sue Target for using your name for their profit!

I wear tight capri leggings mostly from Victoria's Secret (when they're on sale) but their tank tops are too long for me because I'm short. I get Xersion brand tanks from JC Penney and they fit well (form fitting, but not too tight) and they wear well (no fading and no uncomfortable tags or seams). And yes, my wardrobe is 50% dressy work clothes and 50% workout gear so I've tried many different brands and styles.

Very definitely own more training gear than work clothes. It's a very high percentage lulu with some nike and under armour in the mix. Generally I wear whatever I feel like wearing that day, except bench days are almost always a t-shirt so that I can chalk my shoulders to grip on the bench. Getting a bench belly where the shirt rides up is a very definite thing but doesn't bother me anymore.

I like the Sonoma yoga pants I got at Kohl's recently. I had a coupon and they were on sale, so they were fairly cheap. I like Kohl's Rock & Republic sleeveless Ts too. They have a whole Star Wars line, for those who are into that.

Luckily you're a person and not a clothing item! If a shirt came out called "The Rachel" I'd be concerned too, the sandwich is bad enough lol

Star Wars theme you say? I'm definitely intrigued!

BZAH10- I completely forgot about Xersion, thanks for the tip!

I stick with Nike and Old Navy bottoms and I always go with compression. I never have problem.
