Getting started today . I will reach my goal of 100 lbs in 1 year

It's really best not to put a time limit on it. You get disappointed too easily. It is possible to lose 100lbs in a year, but weight loss slows when you've lost a bit. It's taken me a year to lose the last 25lbs (71lbs total loss).

I lost around a hundred in a year. Sure it's doable if you are otherwise healthy. Some of the big losers have said that they wish they would have incorporated more strength training and less cardio in their journey. I found the loss of strength surprising as well as the sagging skin from the sudden weight loss and am now incorporating strength training to at least help the strength issue. Best wishes to you.0
