Hi,
I've lost about 25 lbs so far, but need to loose around 50 more. I have hypothyroidism and mixed connective tissue disease. anyone want to be friends? I had tried everything I could think of for the last 3 years and only ended up gaining more weight, but I started seeing a weight loss specialist a few months ago and the weight is slowly coming off. I tend to do T-Tapp for exercise and try to log everything accurately.

Hey. I have Hashimoto's hypothyroidism. I just recently had a baby November 4th. I gained a heap during my pregnancy and (fingers crossed) should be cleared to exercise in the next week. I've been walking and trying to watch what I eat but the struggle is real! Previous to pregnancy I had been successful at losing weight with MFP focusing on Paleo/gluten free and lots of vigorous exercise. I'm not sure how that is going to play out now0

I had my thyroid removed so weight loss seems impossible for me.0

Gogohobs, I have Mixed Connective Tissue Disease. I became really ill about two years ago and couldn't drive or even hold a conversation for a while. I'm doing bett lately. the medications seem to be working at this point, but my body is definetly not that same.
Angieshow3, did you have Hashimoto's when you were losing weight from your previous pregnancy? I developed hypothyroidism during my last pregnancy and it has been so much harder losing weight this time!
Daniel17075, I hear you. I had been trying all sorts of diets and exercising, but just ended up gaining more. The dietician I saw recommended that I keep my protein/carb/fat ratio at a certain percentage. I haven't really changes the things I am eating, but I have changed the ratio between them. It has finally allowed me to start to lose some weight.
