85/15 meat. I skip the bun just because I want room for more meat or maybe beans on the side.
Of course, you could argue that this really isn't even a hamburger since it's not in sandwich form.

Ok, I cook burgers 2 or 3 different ways.

But since everyone wants "healthy", I should go the other way and say that

one great "un healthy" way is to use 80/20 beef, mix in a couple of slices of white bread and an egg. Make up some big patties and grill them til tasty.

    :-)

    fat doesn't mean unhealthy.

did someone say a turkey burger is better than a real one???? WTF is up with that...really?

    I know right !

I'm sick of the whole turkey burger fad.
They taste like poop and have the same, or more, than lean beef burger.

I want to get some hamburgers, bacon and donuts on the way home from work today and make them for dinner tonight! (already have the cheese LOL) Might throw an egg in the mix too.

I just bought Fresh Ground beef that is 93% Lean and 7% Fat. This saved about 60 calories per serving. What kind of ground beef do you make your hamburgers with? What tips do you have to make a burger / toppings even healthier?

Grass fed beef, romaine lettuce (sometimes spinach), red onion, home made pickles and mustard.

I use Flat Out Wrap's 9 Grain Flax Seed Fold Its with a Grillers Prime Morning Star Patty and Ultra Thin Sargento Cheddar Cheese. Its amazing. Oh, and I'm no vegetarian, its just that good. Did I mention its less than 400 calories?
