    Yes..BUT, if you want to lose mostly fat, it is also about the macros. Cut carbs, increase fat intake.

    Yes. You can eat pizza, cookies, and soda every day to lose weight as long as you're eating less than you burn. That isn't to say it's a good idea, though, as nutrition is still highly important.

    Yes. But food quality is still important and should be considered for health and wellness.

    Typically the general recommendation is the 80/20 rule where 80 percent consists of healthy whole foods while the other 20 percent of your calories comes from "treats". Some people choose to go a little more strict in food choice and some more liberal. You'll need to find what works for you.

    I would recommend you pay attention and make sure you are consuming adequate protein as this will help preserve your muscle and ensure your weight loss is mostly fat. A resistance training program will also go a long way in this regard.
