Help,please. I cant open the messages that people are sending with their friend requests.

Every time someone sends a friend request with a message i cant open the message. I click on the message part and it sends me to the persons profile but it wont take me to the message. How do i get to it and there's also a message from a friend request i already accepted that i never got to read how do i find it? Thanks for the help.
