New pain during routine exercises

Now I am aware that MFP is not a substitute for professional medical advice or care, but I'm curious if anyone has experienced the same or has any speculation to what could be up.
For the last year, my standard method of exercising has been lots of walking at a brisk pace (4.0-5.0 mph). In the beginning, when I was starting to push myself to do a little more each time, I did experience my share of shin pain and charley horses. Since winter, I've added regular use of the Elliptical to my routine.
With no recent changes to the way I exercise, suddenly for the last few weeks almost every time, I've started getting these horrible cramps in my stomach sometimes on the left side, sometimes on the right, a little below my bellybutton. They are not menstrual cramps, I have PCOS but they do not feel like ovary pain which I am familiar with that feeling. I thought maybe it was from drinking water, but I am not always drinking water when this happens.
It really sucks because I get these pains about 20-45 minutes into walking/elliptical and it makes it hard to continue even though I really want to. Today I got a headache as well. It's not hunger pains because had eaten an hour before.
Not sure what's up.....but it stinks.
