Garmin tracker

So previously I had a fitbit but I'm currently using my garmin.
My calorie goal is 2110 and this is taken over to garmin connect, both are synced and I have calorie adjustments active.
I think I am confused. Take today for example:
MFP = 1770 (food) - 132 (exercise/adjustment) = 472 remaining.
Garmin = 2110 (goal) + 582 (active) = 2692 (adjustment) - 1769 (food) = 923 remaining.
Am I missing settings somewhere, totally missing the point or just stupid/confused. I though 'active' would be the same on both apps.
Both my garmin & the website state I burnt 2020 yesterday but the app is giving my active calories of 444 and a total of 2554 !

For me, Garmin Connect and MyFitnesspal are identical as they are both linked. If I add something on Connect, it shows up on MFP and the reverse is true as well. Click APPS, get Garmin Connect and link. If already linked, unlink and link again. They should be the same.

Are they linked?
If not, is your Garmin app set to a deficit? It may be showing you your TDEE (total daily energy expenditure) which is what you maintain at. MFP, I assume you are set to lose, so it would be TDEE - whatever deficit you set.0 -
I have MFP set to maintain, garmin seem to have 2110 as my BMR but it's my basic/average TDEE. Where do I set up this goal in connect?
Surely regardless of the settings, my actual garmin is showing calorie burns for 24hr nowhere near what the app is saying.
Yes they are linked. Both 'goals' are the same 2110 & garmin is adding/subtracking calories depending on how active I am that day so the sync appears to be working just confused with the app.0 -
yesterday '*You've earned 67 extra calories from exercise today ' which tallies up with my garmin device. My app states 583 active calories. My total burn for yesterday was 2159.
So what are the goals, active and adjusted numbers is garmin connect?0
