Running questions?

So I've a few questions. Firstly, it's been said that running wipes our your butt completely? For a girl, this makes me a bit scared, I do love running but if it truly does make you flatter, then hell no.
Second, so as a substitute, does running uphill build more muscle both in your legs/butt? Or walking uphill is better?
If so, could someone give me a good running uphill routine, as I'm pretty lost.

Based on my personal (and purely anecdotal) observations the rumour about female runners having no butt is simply not true. (run & do squats....)
Obviously shape & size are a matter of personal preference, butt......

Squats and uphill sprints engage your glutes, and are a good addition to your running workouts. You can keep your butt AND run!0

lol, no you won't immediately become a pancake.
And hill work will definitely build a nice booty - however you have to make sure to actually activate your glutes. A lot of runners have weak, unbalanced glutes, and end up using their hip flexors too much while running uphill. Doing other activation exercises like glute bridges and lunges (as well as keeping your hip flexors flexible) will help a lot.0
