What strategies work for you, MFP? I know I'm not the only one who struggles with this.

Lately I've been focusing on my sugar intake and processed foods. I know that when I eat more whole foods and less sugar and processed foods, my cravings are more in check. Lately, my sugar contact has been higher, and I'm trying to get back on track. I'm hoping that a week or two of whole foods eating will help me keep all of my cravings under control--that's my hope anyway.
I read something interesting lately. A writer on a blog I read says she goes on Atkins shakes for one week (think they are low carb/sugar). She doesn't worry about calorie counting for that week--it's all about getting off the sugar. She drinks a shake every two hours and perhaps has a lite chicken/veggie meal at night. Don't know much about this but it's an interesting thought--especially if your addictions keep you from actually starting and continuing. Good luck!:)0
