Regular sugar still lying around? Make a body scrub!

I have a lot of regular white sugar left over from before we went low sugar, and tbh, I'm kinda glad. I love to make body scrubs out of it for the winter! I don't have any specific recipes--you can find them all over--but what I like to do is pour some sugar into a container, and then add about 1tsp of lemon juice, then add some sesame oil, AND coconut oil. The smell is divine! Like cookies! Works great on my elbows and knees and feet. I get a great exfoliation in the shower, and I get a great skin moisturizer, too. Be careful though because your tub might be slippery!

I do the same thing with salt occasionally, for my feet. Salt is usually too harsh for any other area of my body.

But there are loads of different recipes. Lemon and ginger, add some essential oils, whatever! Have fun with it.

I'm sure a lot of you know about this already, but maybe there's someone out there that doesn't and can't justify throwing out a whole or half bag of sugar.HTH
