Any survivors of the 30 day squat challenge?

I was 100% on board with the idea until I searched the mfp threads and found a lot of people said to use weights in order to get results. I have hand weights (3 lbs., 5 lbs., and 8 lbs.) but I have a feeling they meant barbells.

Did anyone complete the challenge without weights and see/feel a difference?

    Yes but weights get better results

    I did the challenge and I totally see a difference, I wish I would have taken pics before and after. But this wasn't my only exercise (weights 3x/week...elliptical and treadmill everyday on top of the squats, so maybe a combo of all this helped). I'm not stopping and I'm doing 250/day as I do think they help. Can't hurt, right?
