Fitbit Charge HR Questions?

I'm thinking about buying one in the next couple of weeks and even though it has a heart rate monitor I'm not sure if I'm going to use it for Cize (Beach Body program) as I saw that someone else used theirs and it logged 5000+ steps a session which I'm sure some of those steps weren't from actually moving your feet but arms and such.

My questions are: would you be wearing it with a workout where you'd be moving your arms around a lot?

I'm sure this isn't an option but is there any way to turn off the steps for exercises that don't require it?

Thanks. :)

What you do, is when you exercise you put it on exercise mode and it counts calories more from the HR side (though still counts steps). You don't need to turn off steps, it is pretty intuitive.

Awesome, if I use it while working out I'll be sure to do that. I'm only concerned because I can handle a few steps here and there but because I'm doing a program heavy in arm movement its most likely going to miss count my actual step count. Like I said, 5000 steps in a workout is way too many steps to be counted in my opinion.
