What mini goal is motivating you right now!

For me it's getting into a size 8 jeans. I've been a 10 in my adult life but I've never been an 8. Right now I'm a really loose 12 and looking forward to 10's then 8's!!!

I've got some serious muffin top in my current jeans and since I can't afford new ones, the biggest goal right now is to get rid of that

I've been up and down and up and down the same 5 pounds or so all year. Right now I am up a bit and would like to get back down by the end of the year again.

To stay under 145lbs so I can jump from 750cal/day deficit to 500cal/day deficit. Then I get a whole 250cal/day more of food!

Great question! Thanks. Lose 3 lbs before Christmas, my weight will then be lower than it has been for over a decade.

To make it through Christmas with self control intact. Which doesn't mean no sweets and tracking perfectly and under my calorie goal 100% of the time, because I will eat some sweets. But I want to feel in control of what I eat, not bingeing.

Getting to 138 or below by next weigh-in. My last weigh-in end of November was 140.6 so goal is another 2.6 pounds by end of December. I only weigh once a month at the end of the month.

I want to be able to jog comfortably on the local roads. So far I've graduated to jogging comfortably on the treadmill, which at this weight is quite an accomplishment. For some reason it feels harder on the road. I'm looking forward to a quick easy way to get in 45 minutes of elevated heart rate on days when it's tricky for some reason to drive into town for the gym; my dog will appreciate the extra walk, too.

My next goal is actually one more pound of loss. That gets me to 2 landmarks--dropping into the 170s and having less than 30 lb left (out of 150). Hopefully this week!

to get halfway to my goal weight. I'm one pound away, and with my luck, that will be the most stubborn pound in the history of weight loss! May have to resort to drastic measures, like dynamite.

Currently, to get through my weekly training sessions with my personal trainer (who is less than half my age) without him laughing hysterically at how wimpy I am. I have some muscle definition, but NO strength whatsoever, which was the point of hiring a trainer so that I can make progress.

It has made me workout harder during my other workouts so that I'm not quite so pathetic during my sessions. Kind of like cleaning the house before the cleaning service arrives.

To go down a pants size; because more clothes will fit. And to get under 200 preferably by Jan. 9. Under 200 my knees feel better (arthritis/torn meniscus) and Jan. 9 we have out of town guest coming to stay for a long weekend.

I'd like to hit my first big weight goal (130) by the end of January. This was the number I entered as my goal when I first joined MFP but I'm going to keep going once I get there. I'm currently 4lbs away but I'm probably going to end up maintaining for the rest of the month.

159lbs by 12/31/15 my current weight is 163.6 so not sure if its possible but it would be great to end the year in the 150's even if its barely in the 150's lol.

Mine isn't even weight related. My significant other's family tends to overeat and feel like crap around the holidays. My goal is to mindfully indulge and feel good through the New Year. Weight loss on top of that would just be the cherry on top of the happy body sundae!
