Hi i just joined MFP.
i feel like i cant stop eating sweets. i cant trust my self control or self will.i say im just going to have one day of sweets but i find my self eating it anyway whenever i see it in the house. others buy it, so i cant do the dont buy it thing because others choose to buy it. and to be honesty i dont want to stop eating sweets, i love the way it makes me feel and the taste of it.so does anybody have any advice.im thinking the best thing for me is to eat it in moderation, but its like i cant control when i eat it to much.

I'm pretty much the same - I will inhale Krispy Kreme/Dunkin Donuts and pick n mix until I feel physically sick. And then keep going.
But replace the word 'sweets' with cigarettes, alcohol or meth. Doesn't seem quite so innocent all of a sudden, hey. I am all for things in moderation but no one suggests tobacco or meth in moderation. Or alcohol in moderation for alcoholics.
I really recommend you read this book:
