Calories and macros not adding up

Has anyone else had all the fat carbs and protein alloted for the day accounted for but you still have calories left? It is happening to me quite often and I check entries to labels and even add in my own if I can't find a suitable entry, but lately it has been happening every day.

At attention to hitting your macros as those will add up to your caloric goal. Some food labels are incorrect. Just hit your macros and your calories will automatically be hit. Or multiply your macronutrients by their caloric value to see the exact calories you're eating(:

The US FDA Guidelines for reporting nutritional information on Nutrition Facts labels allow for rounding of carbs, fats, and proteins to the nearest 0.5 or 1 gram, depending on quantity per serving. Whereas, the guidelines allow rounding of Calories per serving to the nearest 1, 5, or 10 Calories, depending on serving size. Also, the guidelines provide for differing methods for calculating total carbs by either including or excluding insoluble fiber (dried and canned beans almost always use the exclude insoluble fiber method). This, along with potential MFP user errors when entering nutritional information could explain much of the discrepancies.
