Trying to Trade in the Man Boobs

Trying to trade Man Boobs for pecks, I've been losing weight consistently with little cardio and lots of strength training, but I feel as tho I'm not finding a proper workout for my chest to acquire pecks. Anyone with some advice to assist in my goal?

You can lift weights and absolutely build your pecs up - but that doesn't change the fact that you have fat covering your pecs. The only way to trade in the sweet man lumps is to lose fat. Your body will unfortunately decide what part of your body to take the fat from. There is no spot reduction, there is only total fat reduction. That being said - continue to lift and stay strong - eventually your hard work will be evident.

How long have you been watching your calories and training? Depending on your starting point it may take a while to hit your goals. Patience helps endure the ride.

Bench pressing works pretty well. Just make sure you touch the bar on your chest during the rep, otherwise you aren't really using those muscles much.

Of course, as others have said, you'll need to lose some fat to make them show properly.

Once you lose enough fat, the love handles and man boobs will go away. As has been stated a million plus times at MFP, you cannot spot reduce the fat in your "man boobs". You'll have to lose overall fat for them to eventually go away.

Building the muscle in that area is a separate endeavor which you say you are currently working on both that and the fat reduction via cardio at the same time. The dicey part of it all is that you cannot lose weight without running a caloric deficit and you cannot gain muscle without eating at a surplus. So do you cut weight first and then bulk, or do you bulk up and then cut weight? IMO - you'll see the man boobs go away quicker if you cut the weight first by maintaing a deficit in the CICO equation until all love handles and boobs are gone.
