So after being really controlled during exams I like a numpty on impulse bought 6 pack of M&S Red Velvet tea cakes and then just ate them all without thinking. Feel stupid. 500 calories for nothing

I've found that what's worse, is sometimes not giving into; your cravings & trying to eat something else instead, when you know the entire time; that you'll eventually eat what you tried to avoid.0

Yeah can see that happening. Have tried to include treats so not to feel the need to do that but meh must move on0

A trick which helps me reduce my intake of especially calorie dense foods, is to treat it; as if it's a "sample" because samples aren't about quantity/satiety, their just about taste. So 2 bites, spoonfuls, forkfuls and/or a shot glass worth, is sufficient; without feeling deprived because I've made myself believe, that I can consume more of it; at another time or if possible I try to consume these types of foods, when I have other's around; to share them with.0

Burn them off! Mistakes happen, even intentional ones. (I'm bad with those.).0
