So! I see a lot of people at the gym using pre workout things and protein drinks. When do you start looking into those? Do I have to even look into them? When did you guys start using them? What brands are good?
After my work outs I'm so hungry that I eat a granola bar in my bag for the drive home.
I run, walk, box, weight lift.

Pre workouts are basically speed. If you have no trouble getting up for/getting through your workouts they're completely unnecessary IMO. I don't like the jittery, cranked-up feeling, so I don't use them.
Protein powder/drinks are only necessary if you're not getting enough protein in your diet from other foods. Nothing magical about them.0 -
Consume 15-20 grams immediately after your workout.0
