When you set a calorie per day goal, should that apply to 24 hour period or do you add more calories if your up longer.
Heres the scoop Im up at 10pm to be to work by 11 then when I leave that night job at 7 Im to work to my day job by 7:30 then I work to 4pm then I go home shower and sleep again from 5pm to 10pm. Monday -Friday then Im off for the weekends. Any advice.

Eat when hungry. Maybe base your days off of when you go to sleep and when you wake up. I tend to get 5 hours of sleep also, except from night into morning. I just start logging (when I was login) when I wake up and end it when I go to sleep(:

Your calorie goal is for the full 24 hours so it doesn't matter in that sense but you might want to read up on how sleep can effect weight loss.

You do not have to go strictly by the 24-hour clock.
You can look at your daily average for the past 7 days.

I'd recommend getting a step counter or fitness tracker (I wear a Fitbit) that counts your steps and/or heartrate and syncs with MFP and gives you more calories if you are more active.
