Turning it around

2013 was a good year. I woke up one morning and made a change. Starter walking, then added biking and running and was able to lose 70 lbs. The streak continued in 2014 and I dropped another 40 to bring me to a total of 110 lbs lost. 2015...was rough. We began fostering a medically fragile infant who required several extended hospital stays. Then her sister was born in June and placed with us as well. The last 2 months have been nothing but hospital trips, fast food and take out dinners. Here I sit about 35 lbs heavier than at the beginning of the year.

But I'm not quitting. I spent the last week getting our basement ready again and purchasing a bench and new weights. Started working out and meal prepping again. I have to do better in 2016. I will do better in 2016. I have too many people counting on me.

Who wants to join me?

Hey - feel free to add I need help along my path - I never put myself first, (my family comes first) but 2016 is going to be my year and I need to sort my eating habits and exercise regime..... When your partner turns around and says - 'you're getting fat!' (heart is torn from your chest) 'you never put yourself first' (but my children and you are always cared for!) 'you need routine as it's all fat, you trained so hard for your half marathon and haven't done anything in months, and it shows!' (sobbing by now as I work full time as well as caring for two small children) Any new friends, advice and help is so very welcome.
    Thanks
