I am on a journey to drop 47lbs. by the time I turn 47 at the end of July (roughly 8 months). That equates to 6 Lbs per month loss rate.

I was almost reaching the heaviest point in my life (275 lbs) and my knees were giving me fits, so it was time to make some lifestyle changes.

I am off to a great start, due to a 21-day whole foods cleanse. On day 18, I am down almost 13 Lbs. Anyone want to join on this adventure?

You can do it! I just turned 47 and though I am not sure how 47 is supposed to feel but I think I really felt this birthday. Take your time and take things in stride because a lot of great things happen when we take our health into our own hands and a lot of it doesn't reflect on the scale. But you will feel and be better.

    Good Luck!!!

Good job so far! Always good to have a goal. Regardless of whether you hit the exact numbers or not you will feel better and that's all that matters. Hope you get others to join you! Or, perhaps this "numbers" game could relate to fitness goals as well. For example, using your #47 it could be a goal to run for 47 minutes straight or do 47 pull-ups or whatever is compatible to each persons fitness goals. Either way, keep it up!
