Clocking in and out at work

At my workplace it is exact minute clocking. Not something I am normally use to because all the jobs I've been at it is rounded clocking.

Here is the situation:

If i need to make up 8 minutes and i clocked in today at 7:21 and my normal work start time is 730. didn't go to lunch until 11:42 then clocked back in at 12:12. I am 36 hrs and 13 mins right now and I need 40 hours. What time should I clock out?

I made my calculation and came up with a time but I would like everyone's opinion because my boss has a different time from me and debated over it for a while.

    That's what I had too. Whew. I thought I was going crazy with my math skills.

    I wouldn't mind at all because it means I get to leave early lol. However, my math is not letting this go haha.

    "Exact minute clocking" sounds ridiculous. I can see issues with whatever software your office uses if somehow everyone tries to load it all up the same time to try and clock at the exact start time.
