On Friday went out for Christmas dinner with work colleagues and I had something I've never had in my life. Pumpkin soup with spinach on top. Not too tasty but I keep thinking about it and wanting more. Yum yum

Oh dear.. It's shameful that I've admitted never tried pumpkin in my life on Christmas week. Thank you for letting me know I can't delete

Nicky, I keep canned pumpkin around to add to smoothies or stir into oatmeal or yogurt. It's low carb (unless you add sugar!) and really healthy.

Careful with what people make. That soup could have a stick of butter, condensed or evaporated milk, or even bacon fat to make it taste good. Just because it's pumpkin, may not mean it's good for your heart.
