Eating To Grow

Answers please by experienced people,
I'm pretty on point with how to eat and workout. I only have one question though.
Far as eating goes, is it to a person's advantage more to eat up until an hour before workout, or eat after your workout.
I'm on top of my macros and what to eat. I'm just wondering if it makes more sense, and if there is more benefit to eating up until an hour prior workout, or basically fasting and having a feast meal post workout.
Any feedback is greatly appreciated!!
Thank you in advance,
-Josh-

Really doesn't matter unless you feel depleted in energy if you're fasting. Then it's probably better to have something prior. But that's something you'll have to personally figure out yourself through trial and error.
