I'm assuming you mean "can you lose 1 kg per week?" If so, then the answer is maybe.

It's not recommended that you lose 2 pounds per week unless you are very obese (have more than 75 pounds to lose).

Not knowing how much you have to lose, here are some recommended rates of loss:
    0-25 pounds (0-11.4kg): .5 pounds or .25 kg/week
    25-50 pounds (11.4-22.6kg): 1pound or .5 kg/week
    50-75 pounds (22.6-34kg): 1.5 pounds or .75 kg/week
    75+ pounds (34+kg): 2 pounds or 1 kg/week

    25-50 pounds (11.4-22.6kg): 1pound or .5 kg/week
    50-75 pounds (22.6-34kg): 1.5 pounds or .75 kg/week
    75+ pounds (34+kg): 2 pounds or 1 kg/week

Well since this is the GAINING weight board, not weight loss board, I would guess he means can he gain 1kg/week. Then again, he may be lost AND cryptic.

I'm going to say the answer is 42. Because the answer to everything

I checked his username in google, to see what his other posts had been about (gaining or losing), but only found marriage/dating things for him. Even his one other post here seemed to be an attempt to meet a young woman.

If he can build one at a rate of 1 kg each week, by next Christmas he could have a nice new lady friend.

Sorry. Didn't realize this was on the gaining weight forum. I had multiple tabs open when I typed up this reply and paid zero attention to the board it was on. Of course, if OP would have been less cryptic, I probably wouldn't have goofed in the first place.

And here I've been told the answer is always 27.5. Dang it!
