A week ago I posted freaking out because of gained about 10 lbs over a duration of a month. I had started lifting, hitting cardio hard and training a marathon. While some people were kind of jerks about my low miles (that's generally how you start a training program) a lot of you were super helpful at looking at my food and pointing out
I needed more protein (so I'm upping it)
I needed more water (boom done)
I needed to pick my workout- switched to 5x5 3 days a week and running 3 times a week
I'm down 4.5 lbs- which tells me it was water weight and lowering my sodium and upping my water did wonders. Oh and I only ate out 2 times all week (it would have been once but I burned the shiz out of my dinner and only at 700 calories for the day after a 4+ mile run). Thank you

I don't remember reading your thread, but it sounds like you received some good advice that has helped you in your quest to lose 10 pounds. You are off to a great start having lost 4.5lbs. so far. Keep up the good work.0

What, you're not running 54257 miles a week to prep for your marathon?
Glad you got what you needed from the thread and it's working for you.!0 -
Weaklings...by the time I race I'll be around 54530 miles a week but right now I'm 12 weeks out from a half- so I only run 1263 miles a week...duh.
