I find it very hard to figure out salts and sugars. I go bdyondy my limit everyday. It seems like all foods have sodium and sugar. I do keep losing weight though, so is going over really a big deal.

Absent a medical condition (diabetes, hypertension, etc), going over sugars and sodium by a bit daily isn't a problem.

That will probably always be the case of you eat a lot of convenience foods.

Trouble is I don't eat that kind of food. I make my own meals, and eat lots of fruits and veggies. But all fruit has sugar and even the baby carrots has sodium. It's crazy.

How many carrots are you eating that sodium is an issue?

I believe I read once that only 10% are affected by sodium in regards to hypertension. Doctors advise lower sodium diets to everyone in case that 1 in 10 person is their patient and its an easy fix verses meds. If you drink enough water and counter with potassium you can balance out especially if its whole foods that you are getting them from.

I just mainly wanted to know if you go past your macro limits if that prevents you from losing weight, or is it just the calories I need to worry about
