Getting Back Into The Groove

Hey guys,

So after I gave birth to my son last December I started getting migraines 2-3 times a week, sometimes lasting 2 days each. Then the fatigue set in...more than I should have being a new mom. It was to the point where I was falling asleep on the couch every morning after getting the baby from his crib. I'd been working out but by this point I just didn't have the energy for it anymore.

After a couple rounds of blood work we figured out that I have hypothyroidism (a condition which can make it difficult for me to lose weight). I've been on thyroid hormones for nearly 3 months now and have just started getting my energy back and I would like to get a workout in ASAP, however, I haven't worked out in 5 months.

What are some tips you guys can give me for getting back into working out? Does anyone else have hypothyroidism and losing weight?

Hypothyroidism is very common, especially in women. If you find the right dose of meds, you will be fine. It should not affect weight at all. Just make sure you keep up with your dr appointments.
As for exercising, there are no limitations. Whatever you like and feel comfortable doing, just get back to it.
